APRIL 6, 2018 (TYLER, TX) – Energy equipment company VME continues to gain share in the growing U.S. market for modularized well site construction. Over the last six months, VME has expanded the utilization of their Texas fabrication facility to meet increasing demand, substantially growing their employment of skilled trades and moving to a multi-shift work schedule.
While work for the previously announced Permian Basin contract has grown significantly, VME has booked new orders in Q1 of 2018 for the D.J. Basin and for another large multi-well development in the Permian.
Greg Jean, Vice President of VME said, “There is growing demand for companies like VME who have the capabilities to serve Oil and Gas Producers with large drilling and completion programs who utilize multi-well pre-fabricated modularized production facilities.
Our clients value the cost efficiency and construction cycle times gained by standardizing and constructing the complete well site facility in our controlled manufacturing environment. This method dramatically reduces construction time on the well site and significantly lowers our client’s risk associated with coordinating multiple construction activities on multiple locations.”
