Scope:
VME through a partnership with a research university
Challenge:
Certain environmental hazards exist from time to time and are magnified by various forms of vegetation or organic species. Pollution, fire, or contamination are possible environmental hazards that may result from such vegetation or organic species under certain uncontrolled (or undesirable) conditions.
VME Solution:
A local university has initiated a research program to study the conversion of biomass into liquid hydrocarbon fuel that could be used by the transportation industry. As the project sponsor, VME is evaluating the technology and is in the process of developing a pilot plant to test the commercial viability of the technology. The commercial application of this technology may significantly reduce or eliminate potential environmental hazards.
