VME Lands Contract for North Sea Redevelopment Project

NOVEMBER 14, 2018 (TYLER, TX) – VME has been awarded a contract from McDermott Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd for a Gas Dehydration and Glycol Regeneration Package. The completed equipment will weigh in at 170 tons and will have a gas capacity of 390 MMSCFD.

“This project will be fully constructed at VME’s Batam, Indonesia Fabrication Facility according to client specifications and will meet all Danish legal requirements and EU Directives (PED and ATEX),” said Kuoh Lee, Senior Executive Vice President of VME.

Upon delivery in August 2019, the package will be part of TOTAL E&P Danmark A/S’s Tyra Redevelopment project in the Danish sector of the North sea, approximately 139 miles (225 km) west of Esbjerg, Denmark.
