VME believes it is important to support the community in which we live and work. VME supports several organizations corporately and encourages employees to individually support local organizations that are important to them.
The VME SHARE (Simply Helping Area Resources Exist) policy outlines how VME will support our community and how VME will support employee efforts to support our community.
“It’s great to work for a company that doesn’t hesitate to reach out and help people in need. I’m grateful that VME supported me and many of my coworkers to help the people of Van, Texas immediately after the devastation of a tornado that hit last year.”Randy M.
“The VME SHARE program makes it easy for me to invest in my own community through our partnership with the United Way. As a result, my eyes have been opened to the needs of children living in terrible home environments right here in East Texas. I love working at a company that gives me an easy way to have a positive impact on hurting children. Our people truly care about others – and together we’re making a difference.”Brittany W.
"Beat the Heat" Fan Drive
VME proudly partnered with The Salvation Army to help provide relief from the summer heat to people in our community. Employees donated new box fans, towels and soap in this year’s “Beat the Heat” Fan Drive.
