VME has been selected by Saipem to provide the gas dehydration & TEG regeneration package (GDU1) and H2S removal & amine regeneration package for P-79 Búzios FPSO project.
The GDU1 has a gas inlet flowrate of 318.56 MMSCFD with inlet water content 93.55 lbs/MMSCF and outlet water content 2.0 lbs/MMSCF. The Lean TEG purity is 99.95%.
“We’re excited to continue our work in the Búzios field with Saipem and P-79,” said Daniel Johnstone, Vice President of Offshore Projects. “It’s great to be a part of a project that will produce such a large quantity of oil and gas.”
The H2S removal & amine regeneration package has a gas inlet flow rate of 4,300,000 Sm3/d with max H2S content of 170ppmv and maximum CO2 content of 3 mol %. The export gas H2S content is <5 ppmv. The Lean Amine concentration is 50 wt% and the circulation rate is 64 m3/hr.
The P-79 Búzios FPSO Project is located at Santos Basin, Brazil. It is part of a production system of the Búzios 8 field, made of one fully operating new build FPSO vessel ready to receive and offload oil in the capacities and to the quality parameters. Overall production capacity is 180,000 b/d and 7.2 million m3 of gas daily with 25 years long term production operation. The overall storage capacity is 2,000,000 bbl oil storage.
